Lauren Murphy is a ceramicist living on Kaurna Country, in Adelaide. 
Her practice combines studio production, teaching and exhibition.

She began her ceramics practice in 2016 while completing a Bachelor of Visual Communication at UniSA. She then undertook a residency at George Street Studios, and the Associate Program at JamFactory, participating in mentorships and skills development.

Her work has been in exhibitions including at Adelaide Design Week, 1KChairs, Craft ACT, Household Gallery, and the 2023 National Emerging Art Prize (ACB). She has also produced commissions for local restaurants and wineries.

She currently teaches workshops, with experience in wheel-throwing, slip casting, hand building, glazing and firing, as well as supporting artists through collaborative making and skills development.

Mornings Ceramics handmade products are food safe, 
and can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand.
